Hi I’m Conrad Wheeler. My interest in preserving family history grew out of an experience with my own parents. Like so many, we gave no thought to recording our parents’ stories and consequently lost most of them. From this experience, came a desire to help others preserve their family history. Stories about ourselves serve so many purposes and are worth recording and sharing throughout our lives.
I came to this business in a round-about way. I had spent most of my career working as a scientist/project manager in the biotech industry in the San Francisco Bay Area. The
opportunity to pursue my own interests came when I retired. I had moved to Sonoma County and decided to establish “Stories to Remember Legacy Videos.” It was facilitated by a wish to make a positive difference in people’s lives and a life-long interest in photography. The transition from film to digital photography, followed by the development of hybrid photo/video cameras, made it easy to complement photography with video. And video has the power to communicate like no other means.
Everyone has fascinating stories to tell and I greatly enjoy recording them in a professional, cinematic way. You’ll find I’m an enthusiastic listener with a sense of humor and an interest in documenting your unique story.
Please contact me for any questions regarding a legacy video or related project.
